Founded in 1981, Hansung Precision produces mechanical rebar splices, rock bolts for tunnel rock support and steel fibre for concrete reinforcement to make building and civil works safer. Our engineers developed HS-BAR, Korea's first upset-forged, roll-threaded rebar splice, saving reinforcing steel while improving workability and precision.

WHY HS-BAR
Why mechanical splicing
instead of lap splices
Developed to meet the demands of large reinforced-concrete structures and seismic design, mechanical splicing is now used widely on civil and building sites. Because HS-BAR upsets the bar end before rolling the thread, the bar's mechanical properties are unaffected.
